Welcome to my digital diary.

This is (not) a guide on how to journal like a girl in her twenties. Rather, it is a revelation of how I navigate the incessant and unprovoked attack of adulting.

Somewhere between sixteen and seventeen, I decided that I had my life figured out. We all know how that goes. At eighteen, I started university and found myself laughing at the thought that my parents had ever worried about whether I could survive the cruel and brutal grasp of the world. By twenty, I had established myself in the adult world and was ready to embrace all its raw pains and pleasures. At twenty-one, I caught a glimpse of love. At twenty-two, I tasted grief and lost myself in ways I never knew were possible. At twenty-three, I hated myself so much that I fell in love.

Life is nothing if not ebbing and flowing, and I am nothing if not forever changing. So here I am, at twenty-four, taking risks and taking notes on how to navigate this world in my twenties.

Love,
g.
